About
Jamee’s PhD will contribute to the harm reduction and prevention program of the UNSW Hepatitis C Vaccine Initiative. The study aims to explore how social network factors interplay with broader meso and structural influences to positively or negatively affect hepatitis C risk and transmission. In-depth qualitative interviews were conducted with 34 people who inject drugs in four metropolitan and regional study sites in New South Wales. The study utilised sociological and network theory in conjunction with risk environment and enabling environment conceptual framework approaches.
